No other coating in the world can compete with this ceramic-epoxy coating. SilverSteam has been used in tough down hole oil field applications throughout the world since 1985. SilverSteam SLDP-44/44GF was developed in 1999 to handle the high heat of various gasses and liquids encountered in very deep wells. All of our specifications are backed by testing in nationally recognized laboratories.
SilverSteam Specs
- Can handle pressure up to 1,000 psi.
- Dielectric strength is 2,500 volts per mil. This literally shuts down any chance for galvanic corrosion.
- Prohibits corrosion from working underneath our coating in the event of damage to surrounding surface.
- Flexibility of 11% elongation allows pipes to contract and expand in winter conditions without coating failure.
- 100 times more resistant to water penetration than any other epoxy.
- Impact strength and abrasion resistance are far superior to other coatings because of our ceramic particle loading.
Epoxy Lining
The Benefits
-
Cost Effective
As much as 25%-75% less expensive than traditional pipe replacement.
-
Minimal Downtime
Our solutions take a fraction of the time of traditional replacement methods.
-
Minimal Disruption
Our solutions are quiet, non-invasive and minimize the risk of utility disruption. You can still run your business while we fix your pipes.
-
Safe and Durable
Our epoxies are certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 and have an estimated life expectancy of 100 years.
-
Versatile
Our epoxies can line any pipe in any building, structure or environment, above or below ground.
-
Green
Our solutions’ small footprint is less invasive and better for the environment than pipe replacement.
Epoxy lining restoration of plumbing, structural pipe, and mechanical systems is a non-invasive process that uses epoxy to coat the inside walls of pipes without destruction to interior or exterior surfaces of building structures, hardscape, or landscape. Epoxy lining is used not only as a permanent solution to prevent corrosion and leaks, but is commonly used as a preventive tool to preserve the life of existing piping systems.
Products & Equipment
The life expectancy of the epoxy is estimated to be 100 years and has withstood the test of time for more than 40 years in Japan, and almost 25 years in the United States. SilverLining is master licensee of the U.S. Navy’s patented ‘702 epoxy and lining process, and operates under two SilverLining drain lining patents and seventeen industry-related patents.
Lining is an eco-friendly solution that creates no waste for landfills or for recycling and generates no carbon emissions during manufacturing. Lining prevents toxic heavy metals from leaching into drinking water and prevents leaks and breaks in pipe systems that contribute to water pollution and cause billions of dollars annually in water damage.
Our patented epoxy lining system is applied regularly in pipe diameters of 1/2" to 10", and in specialty applications for diameters above 10".

Small Diameter Pipe Lining
Our small diameter pipe lining gives you the benefit of being able to line complete systems right from the 3" (75mm) or 4" (100mm) stack down to the 1.0" (25mm) branch lines.
-
Lateral Lining
SilverLining’s Lateral Lining System is used to remotely repair full sections of damaged pipe or even sections anywhere in the lateral.
-
SilverLining Liners
SilverLining engineered two liner solutions to specifically handle straight pipes as well as pipes with multiple bends and elbows in both large and smaller diameter pipe systems. Between the two technologies, SilverLining offers complete no-dig installation through existing cleanouts. SilverLining technologies repair all kinds of pipelines from cast iron to orangeburg. The liners seal to the host pipe with no annular space. Among the many features, SilverLining’s technology handles corrosive environments, repairs around 90 degree bends and spans void pipe sections, all without creeping or shrinkage. This technology is also able to handle any transitions in pipe diameter such as 3-4" (75mm-100mm) and 4-6" (100mm-150mm) transitions in one application.
-
The Cured-In-Place Technology
Cured in place materials mold to the host pipe. This seamless pipe prevents infiltration and exfiltration, restores structural integrity, eliminates joints that can weaken and allow root intrusion. Cured in place pipe actually increases flow capacity because the SilverLining pipe is much smoother than old clay and concrete pipe.
SilverLining Technology has the experience and technical knowledge to specify the right thickness and right resins to meet your specific needs regardless how deep the pipe or how corrosive the environment.
-
Change in Diameter Pipe Lining
Our patented expandable material gives installers the capability to change diameter sizes from 4" (80mm) to 6" (150 mm) anywhere in the line. Our change of diameter tube gives you a full strength liner in both sizes without compromising the integrity of the pipe.
-
Trenchless Lateral Repairs
All of our lateral rehabilitation techniques can be launched through cleanouts. Our systems can start and stop anywhere in the line which again can save significant money while enabling technicians to fix problems anywhere in the line at any length.
